For Meta Quest

You've been dropped somewhere on Earth.

Look around a real 360° street photo, pin your guess on a map you hold in your hands, and find out how close you got.

Free to play · Daily Challenge every day · Duel your friends

Look. Pin. Score.

Every round drops you into a different place on the planet. No labels, no hints, just what you can see.

Drop in

You're standing inside a full 360° photo of a real road somewhere in the world. Turn around, look for clues: the plants, the road lines, the signs, the light.

Grab the map tablet, pan and zoom with your controller or hands, and drop a pin where you think you are.

Score

See the real spot, how far off you were, and up to 5,000 points a round. Five rounds, 25,000 to beat.

Three ways to play

Play a quick solo game, chase today's leaderboard, or settle it head to head.

Free

Daily Challenge

The same five places for everyone, every day. Climb the global leaderboard and see where your friends landed.

Classic

Five random drops anywhere with coverage. Three free games a day, unlimited with Pro.

Duel a friend

Invite a Quest friend into the same drop. When one of you guesses, the other has 15 seconds. The closer guess hits harder; first to run out of health loses.

The Dropped map tablet showing a guess near Lyon and the real location in the Gorges du Verdon, 184 km apart.

Dropped Pro

Unlimited drops. Duels for your crew.

The Daily Challenge is always free. Pro is for when five places a day isn't enough.

Questions

Which headsets does it run on?

Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. Controllers and hand tracking both work.

Will it make me motion sick?

You stand still in each photo and only turn your head, so there's no artificial movement at all. It's one of the most comfortable things you can do in VR.

Where do the photos come from?

From Panoramax, an open, community-built library of street-level imagery. Every photographer is credited in the game. Maps are © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Each drop streams a high-resolution 360° photo, and the Daily Challenge, leaderboards and duels are online.

Is this GeoGuessr?

No. Dropped is an independent game and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by GeoGuessr.
